Nilaveli is an unspoiled beach just outside Trincomalee where you can not only swim or sunbathe but go diving, snorkeling or watch Whales in their natural environment.

Day 1 : After you got picked up at the airport or your hotel, you will proceed to Sigiriya. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, built 5th century A.D (claimed by some as the 8th wonder in the world), see the water garden, bolder garden, mural paintings, the mirror wall, the lion's paws and the royal swimming pool on top.

Day 2 & 3: After breakfast proceed to Trincomalee. Trincomalee is a port city in on the southern coast of Sri Lanka about 113 miles south of Jaffna. Trincomalee is one of the main centers of Tamil speaking culture on the island. . The beaches are used for surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and whale watching. The city also has the largest colonial Dutch Fort in Sri Lanka.
Overnight at Suryia Lagoon in Nilaveli, Trincomalee.


Day 4 : Leave Trincomalee after breakfast and proceed to ancient city of Polonaruwa. Sightseeing of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th-12th century A.D). You will visit the modern museum, the Parakrama Samudra (gigantic reservoir made by king Parakrama the Great), Statue of King Parakrama, the Library Shrine, Palace of King Parakrama, the Kumara Pokuna (pond used by royal family with the water flowing system), the Shiva temple, the Thuparama shrine room with its glittering statues, the Alahana Monastery Complex, the Gal Vihare (a master piece of stone carving), the Lotus Pond and a traditional wood carving factory.

Day 5 : Kandy is also a great place to buy local handicrafts, artwork and jewelry, and visiting Kandy’s bustling markets is an experience in itself. Which you will have chance to experience on city tour , visiting a wood carving factory, gem museum. After  lunch you will visit  Peradeniya Botanical Garden and /or the Pinawella Elephant Orphanage before make you way back to the airport or your hotel.
